The MSc in Advanced Control and Systems Engineering is a really interesting course that touches on many subject areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, process engineering and computer science. This course is an exciting mix of theory, practice and research. You’ll learn a range of industrial management techniques to allow you to put your knowledge and experience into practice.
The core modules provide you with the range of skills a control and systems engineer needs, and you’ll learn about fundamental and advanced concepts of modelling, simulation, control, optimisation and systems engineering.
There’s a strong focus on the generality of these concepts ensuring that you’ll be equally prepared for careers in a variety of disciplines that rely on control and systems engineering.
You’ll also learn a range of management techniques, including project management, risk management, professional skills and effective management of innovative development. We’ll give you training in research methods and you’ll undertake an extended research project.
