Please note that this test is mandatory if you applied from the 1st of May onwards. You will receive an invitation for the IBS Study Choice Check after applying for IB in Studielink. In case you decide not to start the IB programme, you can withdraw your application in Studielink.
The Study Choice Check is non-binding. You have the final say in whether or not you wish to start the programme. If the test results conclude that this programme is not suited to you, Hanze Studiekeuzeadvies can help you make a better choice.

Are you ambitious, independent and motivated to learn about internationally oriented companies? Would you like to learn how to collaborate in an intercultural setting? Does the idea of spending a year abroad excite you? International Business is the programme for you!
The International Business programme prepares you to become an international business professional who is capable of helping internationally operating businesses achieve their goals. Besides learning about key business functions such as Marketing, Finance, Operations and HR, you will also work on your 21st century skills, including intercultural sensitivity, information management and communication skills.
To deepen your cultural awareness and broaden your international horizon you will spend a full year abroad that includes a semester at a partner university and an international work placement. Non-Dutch students have the possibility to stay in the Netherlands and follow a minor at Hanze UAS. The International Business programme provides the perfect study environment for a business bachelor’s student who has strong, international ambitions!
What sets the International Business three-year programme apart from the four-year track is that it is designed for students with a higher secondary school education, such as the Dutch vwo level, International Baccalaureate or an international equivalent. This allows you to do a fast track, thus requiring ambition and a strong commitment to self-study. By the end of the three-year programme, you will have achieved the same degree as students from the four-year track. From the second year onwards, you will follow the same programme as the four-year bachelor.
