Overview
Today, businesses face many global challenges such as climate change, urbanization, migration and shifting economic powers. MBA graduates are expected to be equipped to face a variety of business and management challenges beyond the economic and financial realms, and they should be able to come up with effective but also responsible and sustainable solutions. Therefore, The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS) has adopted strong focus on sustainability, responsibility and social entrepreneurship in our master programmes. Besides being a responsible leader, an MBA graduate from THUAS is also a confident leader, able to apply relevant business knowledge and management theory combined with the latest best practices. Our MBA graduates should be able to analyse and solve managerial problems effectively and find workable strategic solutions in challenging situations. They will also be able to kick-start a business or innovation effectively, and will have obtained relevant and up-to-date knowledge about all aspects of doing business in a modern corporate world.
The Hague is an international conglomerate of global organisations and businesses. It is the political heart of the Netherlands and also hosts the international criminal court and many other international institutes. Its proximity to Rotterdam, Delft, Utrecht and Amsterdam provides with an excellent central location for businesses and serves as a hub for a variety of entrepreneurial activities. Studying at THUAS therefore means that you have the opportunity to connect with some of the top multinationals of the world that are present in the city such as Shell, Siemens, KPN, T-Mobile, Huawei, Unilever and DSM. Therefore, our MBA creates an excellent opportunity for networking.
Career opportunities
After graduating, you will be able to greatly advance your professional career and make lasting, positive contributions to business. Graduates move to mid- tot senior level roles in any type of organisation. Quite often MBA graduates start or continue their own businesses as entrepreneurs, or thrive as business consultants.
MBA graduates also develop into world citizens. Our language of instruction is in English, and each cohort exists of at least 10 different nationalities from all over the world. This means that studying for an MBA at THUAS exposes students to many different nationalities and cultures, and equips future leaders with a global perspective and an ability to communicate effectively.
After graduating from the MBA programme you will receive a Master of Business Administration degree (MBA).
Responsible Management students will earn an MBA with certificates from UPEACE, a United Nations mandated university.
Our MBA degree has been accredited by the NVAO (accreditation organisation for higher education in the Netherlands and Belgium).
