This is a postgraduate study programme for in-service teachers and practitioners from a range of disciplines and workplaces, including the caring professions and commercial enterprises.
There are many flexible packages of study, all underpinned by a reflective practice approach, designed to enable learners to benefit from personal and professional development.The Masters in Education uses a variety of teaching methods, including led lectures, seminars, workshops, intensive weekends, summer schools and an Independent Study.
Where appropriate, an attachment to a school/college or children’s centre will be arranged, where possible meeting your needs and interests, to enable you to carry out your study. Most of the assessment is of a written nature, with assignments of varying type and length. There may also be presentations and assessed portfolios. Detailed feedback will be provided to assist your intellectual development.
