A good honours degree in materials, metallurgy, chemistry, physics or a related engineering subject from an approved institution. A good honours degree in dentistry or medicine is also acceptable.

At least 2 reference(s) must be provided.
These should be supplied and signed by academic staff at institutions where you have studied previously. They must be presented on the official letter-headed paper of the relevant institution. If you have been out of education for the last two years, you can send one academic reference plus one from your current employer if you wish.

You’ll develop an understanding of biomaterials science, engineering, regenerative medicine and associated specialisms.

Through group work, presentations and report writing, you’ll develop skills that provide a solid foundation for your professional development.
We’ll give you training in professional research methods and you’ll carry out a project of your own, supervised by an academic. This project gives you the chance to apply what you’ve learnt. It also provides the basis for your dissertation.
