This CILIP-accredited course is about the creation, management and use of digital libraries and resources.

It will introduce you to the strategic thinking and project management skills you need for a successful career. You’ll learn about digitisation, repositories, web creation and how to design digital libraries people want to use.

The course is research-led, which means that you’ll learn about the latest concepts from academics who work with organisations to drive developments in this field.

Alongside the theory and technical skills, you’ll develop some valuable attributes including effective communication, application of research methods and creative problem solving.

The course combines lectures from academics and professionals, seminars, small-group work and computer labs.
