Overview

If you’re not a law graduate, or you have a law degree from outside England and Wales, this masters qualification will exempt you from the Common Professional Examination.

This two-year MA is the perfect conversion course and you’ll acquire a more in-depth knowledge of the law over a much wider range of legal subjects.

This extra depth and understanding will give you a head start in your career as a solicitor or barrister.

There are regular seminars and talks with professionals, including barristers and judges who studied here. We also run practice interviews to help you prepare for training contract interviews with law firms.

Our Bar Society organises trips to the Inns of Court. Members of the judiciary give advice on joining the bar.

You’re welcome to take part in either of our two pro bono schemes: the FreeLaw drop-in centre for the public and the Innocence Project, which investigates cases of wrongful imprisonment.
