Such innovation is dependent upon companies developing effective knowledge management internally as well through external interaction. In order to exploit the potential of the ‘knowledge base’ organisations need to engage and develop specialists with the ability to implement knowledge management practice to aid the development of business.

The course comprises eight assessed modules, a group project and an individual research project. The modules include lectures and tutorials, and are assessed through practical work, written examinations, case studies, essays, presentations and tests. These provide the ‘tools’ required for the group and individual projects.
