Essential Info

This qualification is designed for people who have little or no
previous experience of computing or information technology. However,
you may have some related experience or skills that you wish to build
upon. Emphasis is placed on the effective use, design and development
of software for information systems. It is ideal training for those
who plan to move into the computing and information systems field, or
where computing plays an increasing part in a particular role.

Graduates will have relevant, up-to-date knowledge, coupled with the
professional and technical skills needed to develop, manage and employ
information systems applications in a range of organisations. They
will become skilled in programming and learn how to design and
implement information systems. To enhance employability, the skills
and knowledge gained on the course are directly relevant to industry.

Graduates have a very strong record in gaining employment. You could
develop a career as an analyst programmer, database developer, network
