The world of telecommunications is going through a fundamental
transition. Over the next five years, service and application planes
will become the main area for innovation. Virtually every forecast by
market researchers predicts a rapid expansion of new services, with
hundreds of millions of customers. This MSc is a unique opportunity to
learn the concepts of service and application creation in a
carrier-grade Next Generation Fixed/Mobile development environment.
You will enhance your ability to develop and provide appropriate
applications to users of the new mobile and wireless world, so
information security will be a key theme.
The course is hosted by the Integrated Communications Research
Centre, which hosts the unique IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) service
creation facility. This course is supported by Orange®, who provides
